Bread is Sugar

Starches in bread, rice, pasta, and potatoes are rapidly converted by your body into sugar. Very quickly that sugar exceeds our metabolic need, is converted and stored as fat, and contributes to what we call chronic disease.

The good news is that this can be reversed. Cutting down on starchy foods is a way forward. This has been shown to result in drug-free T2D remission.
